Gobernador Trophy Trial new_nBanner_rt

The Gobernador Trophy Trial is normally run in late January/early February each year. Although the trial is not normally designated as a round of any Eastern Centre Championship, it may occasionally incorporate a round of the Eastern Centre Pre-70 Championship although we try to avoid this if at all possible.

This trial is not for any one particular rider class as is the Mick Denny Novice Trial. However, it is NOT intended for Sidecars. The classes catered for are detailed in the regulations printed in the Eastern Centre Gazette and all classes except sidecars are welcome to enter. However, it must be understood that Youth C and D MAY be expected to ride a harder route than they are used to. As with most of our trials, we anticipate having 10 sections to be ridden four times, but we reserve the right to vary this depending on the number of entries we receive.

The event may be run at either Mid-Essex Gravel Pits off the Essex Regiment Way (the ‘new’ road north of Chelmsford) or at Riffham’s Farm in Little Baddow. This though will be the decision of the Clerk of the Course who will make his decision on an annual basis.
